Day 68: Angkor Wat
This is what brings most people to Cambodia - what brought us here mainly - one of the world wonders, Angkor Wat. Although you can see Angkor Wat at any time of the day, it is recommended to go during sunrise, so that’s what we did. We were picked up by our driver at 5am, boy THAT was fun lol. It was dark and spooky when we got there, but tons of tourists were arriving as well.
After spending some time watching the sunrise and taking lots of pics, we decided to head inside of Angkor Wat. The place is huge so even though a lot of people were there, they were all still mostly watching the sunrise so we pretty much had the place to ourselves. We explored for a while and then left. It was very impressive and cool to see.. I would say , made the Cambodia trip worth it. Although Cambodia in general was definitely a cool experience.
We went back to our hotel and it was still early, they had an awesome breakfast buffet that was complimentary so that was cool. Then we went back to our room and passed out lol.
