Day 51: Grandfather Rock…Unable To Locate Grandmother
On Koh Samui, one very popular tourist attraction is known as the “Grandfather and Grandmother” rock formation. These are rocks that are shaped like male and female genitalia. These were naturally formed rocks. Well, it’s not every day that you see rocks shaped like a penis and a vag, so we went to go check them out.
We were able to find the grandfather rock, but unable to find the grandmother one. I thought they were next to eachother but this was not the case. Apparently, the grandmother rock was located much lower towards the ocean, and it couldn’t be seen without climbing some rocks and getting further down. Since the waves were crashing against the lower rocks, I figured it wasn’t worth getting sucked into the ocean, so we never did see the grandmother rock.
