Day 49: Angthong National Park
Today we had an island excursion to Angthong National Park which is about an hour boat ride from Koh Samui. Like I mentioned before, about 42 islands make up this park but we only visited the 2 main islands. The first island we got to is where we were able to go kayaking. We went kayaking for about an hour and visited this beach on another island where I found lots of cool shells.
Then we went back to the main island and just hung out in the park area for a bit. Then it was time for lunch on the boat. Afterwards, we headed to the 2nd part of the trip which was another island in the park.
At this point, the weather got yucky and it started raining a little..but it was no big deal because this part of the trip did not involve swimming or anything like that, just lots of hiking and sight seeing. It was cool. About an hour of that and then it was time to head back on the boat and- get back to Koh Samui.
