Today was our 2nd and last day in Bangkok before we go to Phuket for 21 days. We went to see the Grand Palace and the Reclining Buddah, afterwards we went to go eat and our day was pretty much gone and it was time to head to the airport.

Our flight to Phuket was only about an hour, and it was very scary. It seemed fine, but all of a sudden at one point during the flight it felt like the plane dropped out of the sky. It was unlike any turbulance I ever felt before, and it seemed that everyone on the plane got scared, which is not something you usually see. Usually everyone is calm. So, I basically thought it was going down.. but we were fine obviously.

Then we got to Phuket, and even though it was nighttime I could tell it was awesome. Our room is very nice, they upgraded us for free because we are staying 21 nights. In general, Phuket reminds me very much of Waikiki Beach, Hawaii, but this place actually seems more hawaiian lol.. whereas Waikiki reminds me a little more of LA, it’s just more Americanized. It’s very busy here and tons of tourists that are mostly Austrailian. There are some Americans and Europeans, but literally this place has a billion Austrailians, they out number the thai people lol. As far as the more deserted islands go (such as the one in the movie “The Beach” with Leonardo DiCaprio and James Bond island) those are supposed to most beautiful places ever, but unfortunately you don’t stay there, but you do go there on day trips for a cheap price so we will be doing that soon.

Oh and just to clarify…Phuket is not pronouced Fuck It lol.. I thought that a while ago but it’s actually pronouced “Poo Kit”.
