Today we were still pretty exhausted and jet lagged; I am trying to adjust to Hong Kong time and it’s a little bit difficult. We took the subway and went to this mall called Pacific Place on Hong Kong Island which was a nice shopping mall with restaurants and an AMC theater. We wanted to see Marley and Me (it was in English with Chinese subtitles) but it was too packed, probably because it’s Saturday night so we’ll go back during the week. 

There were a few fancy Chinese restaurants in the mall but we actually settled on an “American” restaurant lol, it kind of reminded me of a Friday’s which was nice because I just wanted some food that felt a little familiar (aside from McDonalds lol) it was a good place. 

Tomorrow’s plans aren’t set but we’re thinking of taking the ferry to Hong Kong Island and possibly seeing the Victoria Peak. Tomorrow night is Chinese New Years Eve and lots of stuff will be going on during the week so that should be fun.
