Today we took the chunnel back to London because we were flying to Hong Kong and apparently it’s cheaper to do that from there then from Paris. By the time we got there it was almost dark.. this time of year in many places it gets dark way too early. It starts to get dark at only 3:30pm and by 4 it’s pretty much black, so there wasn’t much we could do as most of the stuff we want to do needs to be done during the day, but we did go see Buckingham Palace.

Buckingham Palace was cool to see but unfortunately the guards (the ones that aren’t allowed to move so you can mess with them and they can’t do anything) aren’t outside the gates, they’re inside near the actual palace. They were all standing pretty still but every now and then would do this soilder march thing which was pretty funny to see. There was another guard type person outside the gates but he was just more of a security guard and he was talking to people. We asked about the guards being on the inside and where can you find the ones you can mess with lol… he said there are guards like that outside of where the prince lives so we will be doing that when we come back. We also plan on seeing Big Ben, the London Eye,  Madame Tussands, possibly a Jack the Ripper tour if we don’t think it’s stupid and a waste of money, and riding one of those big London bus things. If I’m missing anything let me know.

So we went back to eat at the food court at their little shopping mall on the way back, while I was sitting down eating at a table and Joe was getting food elsewhere some creepy guy comes up to me and says “Mind if I sit here?” while putting his food on the table and starting to sit. I say “My husband is sitting here.” He says, “Okay, I’ll just sit here then” and sits at the 3rd chair at this table. Now mind you this is a very small table, with 3 chairs yes but really only enough room for 2 people, and there was plenty of seating elsewhere, including completely empty tables. I give him a look like “What the fuck are you doing sir” and he says “Nevermind I’ll sit over here” Um yeah thats right you will.

What was even more creepy was that he looked exactly like the old weird guy from the Buffy movie: http://www.popentertainment.com/sutherland12.jpg
